“I’d like to say something about the team at Mountain Construction. When I showed up at their office and explained the idea, they didn’t tell me “No, out of our scope” they listened, asked great questions, helped me understand what I was asking in terms of construction and costs, and finally, never told me one thing and produced another. All the gray areas were easily worked out and this may be the first large scale construction project that came in on budget and on time. Jim Mayer and Jeff Stroud are excellent resources and helped find solutions to each of the hurdles we crossed along the way. Mike Swarthout and Kelly Rose our Project and Site Manager were fantastic in keeping change orders to a minimum and seeing the project come out on budget. I never felt like I wasn’t aware of exactly where we were on the schedule through the entire construction.
Covid-19 shut the project down temporarily and we were the first company to call Mountain and ask what could be done. They had the project mothballed by the end of the week and we had an agreement in writing agreeing to a restart when we could afford to, due to loss of sales. Several weeks later, we redeployed and finished up this summer.
The system is already surpassing our expectations and we are excited to be shipping a product that is bacteria-free.
