Mountain Construction

Why Choose Mountain?

Mountain Construction is a different kind of builder—our experience, commitment to quality, and investment in relationships make us stand out from the pack.

Our Approach

We have always been committed to—and known for—integrity and being fair and easy to work with. We are dedicated to looking after the best needs of the project. Clients return to us or recommend us in large part because of trust. In our entire history, we have never been to court with a client or failed to complete a project or meet a financial obligation.

Where and How We Build

Mountain’s work has been focused on the South Puget Sound for over 40 years. We have an excellent knowledge of subcontractors and suppliers that will provide the best and most reliable service and workmanship.

Most of our work is design-build and team-build projects where we play a significant role in design. Our staff works creatively with the Owner, Architect, and Engineers to deliver the Best Value design. We also provide comprehensive development services. Mountain also participates in select private design-bid competitions and pursues government design-build contracts.

The Mountain Difference

Unlike many general contractors, Mountain self-performs much of our work for clients rather than subbing it out. This saves clients time, hassle, and money. We feel very fortunate that many of our clients are our subcontractors, suppliers, and local architects. As experts in the field with many contacts within the industry, they continue to choose Mountain. Our relationships are important to us and we are committed to building to the high standards we’ve held since day one.

We Always Maximize Value

Competitiveness is a critical concern in every project. Our history in this market allows us to:

  • Prequalify subs and suppliers based on historical quality, integrity, and safety.
  • Obtain multiple competitive proposals.
  • Evaluate based on overall value—Reflecting not just price, but also the ability to provide value engineering inputs and adequate resources to deliver results on this project when we need them.
