The existing building constructed in the ’50s had significant damage due to a previous tenant and an old structure. It was determined that the existing concrete walls and slab could be retained and a new metal building structure and roof could be erected inside the existing footprint. The existing wood roof structure and roofing were demolished, new foundations were cut in, and the new structure erected. This approach simplified permit issues and allowed the existing site to stay as-is.
