Friday, October 17, by Mountain Construction

At their October 17, 2008 meeting, the Board of Directors of the Washington PUD Association took time to dedicate the engraved glass LEED Platinum Plaque from the U.S. Green Building Council.  USGBC issued the rating in March 2008.

Jeff Stroud of Mountain Construction, and Court Olson of Olympic Associates (Owner's rep consultant) were recognized for their work on the project, and asked to make a few remarks.

"We are extremely proud to be associated with this project, and the Washington PUD Association," says Mountain's Jeff Stroud.  "The project has won local, regional and national awards for green building and as a design/build project.  One of the things we are most proud of is that visitors who come to learn about the green technology are very pleased to find how much they like the look and feel of the building...that it's comfortable and normal."
